UC Davis Shot Hole Borer Update

Invasive shot hole borers were first discovered in the US in 2012 here in the San Gabriel Valley. Since then they have cropped up in South Africa, Israel, Australia, and is now starting to show up on parts of Europe. Although the damage caused by the pest is not as noticeable as when it was first discovered, it remains a threat to trees and shrubs, both in landscapes and in the wild.
